The Oily Spoon Awards..

On the evening of Thursday October 27, the Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) will engage in the annual farce of awarding polluting gas, oil and mining companies with awards for looking after the environment.

Luckily for the real world local community members will be getting together on-site to hand over our very own award (the 'Oily Spoon') to the DMP, for their spectacular failure to fulfil their public duty to regulate the gas industry.
