Volunteer information and training session!
Description
A few weeks ago a wonderful bunch of new volunteers got together for a fun first round of Frack Free Future volunteer meetups.
It was agreed that Frack Free Future should host an info session for volunteers to talk through the science, risks and health impacts of fracking and to build the confidence of volunteers to spread our message out in the community.
Well we now have that session booked in!
During the session Frack Free Future's Jules Kirby will talk through the science, local history and risks associated with fracking in Western Australia, and he will be joined by a Doctors for the Environment spokesperson who will address the health impacts and risks associated with fracking and gas production.
Finally we will distribute new campaign materials and take part in practical exercises, workshop ideas together to build our confidence in talking about the risks associated with fracking.
By the time you leave the room, our aim is for everyone to be feeling confident and ready to spread our positive message about the importance of clean water, healthy land and preserving our beautiful places!
The session will be held in the Conference Room at City West Lotteries House and will run for approximately 2 hours.
